EXECUTIVE BRIEFING - Best Practices in Financial Performance Management

Join ProStrategy & IBM on the 18th June at a 'Best Practices in Financial Performance Management' Executive Briefing.  Find out how IBM performance management solutions help companies of all sizes - from large-scale enterprises to small and mid-size business - transform slow, expensive, disconnected processes into more dynamic, efficient and connected experiences.

'The FPM market is growing because more finance professionals see these solutions as a way  to address their top challenges in planning, compliance and management reporting.  This growth is largely due to the fact that finance pros can no longer rely solely on Excel for planning, reporting, or more sophisticated forecasting and analysis.
' The Forrester Wave : Financial Performance Management, Q2, 2013.

Many Finance departments short-change their enterprise performance management activities because they're wasting time on manual tasks, such as collecting, validating and correcting data, to spend adequate time on the more important task of analysis.  They rely on systems - ranging from spreadsheets to ERP solutions - that are disconnected, outdated, static, insecure, completely dependent upon IT, and lacking the performance and data reliability for today's analytics.

IBM Cognos Performance Management provides a dynamic, collaborative solution to meet all of your enterprise planning and analytics needs.  It offers visibility to plans and forecasts, rapid what-if scenario modelling, and profitability analysis.  And, when paired with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, it addresses a breadth of reporting and score carding needs.  Capabilities include:

Planning, budgeting and forecasting: Automate budgeting and perform driver-based forecasting, "what-if" scenario modelling and multi-dimensional financial analysis.
Profitability modelling and analysis: Evaluate the profitability of products, customers and sales channels with "what-if" modelling and multi-dimensional profitability analysis.
Financial close, regulatory and management reporting: Streamline the assembly of management reporting, performance reporting and reporting for regulatory compliance.  Automate the consolidation process for a faster financial close.
Performance  reporting and score carding: Align strategy with execution, communicate goals and monitor your performance against targets.

Join us at our half day Executive Briefing, where we will share key insights in financial performance management including best practices in budgeting & forecasting, profitability modelling & analysis and narrative reporting & disclosure management.   You will also hear how to take business intelligence to a new level with predictive analytics.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to network and share ideas with the Guest Speakers and the other Delegates and with ProStrategy and IBM personnel.
